Overview

Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, and the Rebel Alliance have fought valiantly against the evil Galactic Empire. Together they have kept alive the hopes for freedom, and helped restore the ways of the Old Republic with its wise Senate and noble line of Jedi Knights. But now a new threat awaits the Alliance.

Within the evil Empire, the surviving Imperial warlords have been fighting among themselves for power. No one knows who will seize control, but the Prophets of the Dark Side have foretold that soon a new Emperor will arise, and on his right hand he shall wear an indestructible symbol of evil.

In the book The Glove of Darth Vader By Paul and Hollace Davids C-3P0, and R2-D2 go to the Empire to spy on them to find out that Emperor Palpane (The former Empire ruler) has a son, Tricoulus, who is trying to prove that he is truly the Emperor¿s son with the indestructible right hand glove of Darth Vader. Luke Skywalker and Admiral Ackbar along with 3P0 and R2 follow the Empire¿s Whaladon hunting machine and get stuck inside with an octopus but escape from the cage then get caught. They finally let the endangered Whaladons free, but still have to fight Tricoulus. Who will rule the Empire? Does the indestructible right hand glove of Darth Vader still have its dark power? If you want to find out read the book The Glove Of Darth Vader By Paul and Hollace Davids. The Death Star was Destroyed, The Empire is now in ruins, The Dark side is still living on ¿ with The Glove of Darth Vader By Paul and Hollace Davids. Will they all live? Who will be declared the new Empire ruler? Read, learn, and find out. Will you get the book? Dare to get it, and learn the adventures of the Empire and the Rebel Alliance. If you do get the book and read it, `May the Force be with you, Always.¿

This book was really good and I didn't ever want to put it down. I really wished it gave just a little bit more detail and was a lot longer so it woundn't seem like I had just picked it up when I really had picked it up a few hours ago. It was really awsome!

This was an interesting sequel to 'Return of the Jedi', but not at all at the level of writing as George Lucas. 'The Glove of Darth Vader' is very, very similar to the original Star Wars story and unless you are a very big fan of the Star Wars movies, this could be sort of boring. However, if you have nothing else to read, it's a very quick book and not dense at all.

THIS BOOK IS GREAT! Not only is this book GREAT but so is the WHOLE SERIES!!!!! I really recommend that you buy the whole series! (espically if you're a Star Wars fan otherwise you probably wouldn't like it.)

This series is great fun to read, but the characters often have dialogue that reminds me of those cheesy superhero comic books from the 1950's. And the witty punch of some of the lines is destroyed when extra words are added on. For example, 'As long as she's a droid with metallic microcircuits.' could have been left as 'As long as she's a droid.' The line would have been funnier. This is not saying that it isn't fun to read. I think the author should consider continuing the series.
