Another great book by Jude Watson!

Anakin & Obi-Wan are on a training exercise on the planet Ragoon-6. While there they run into bounty hunters who are out to get them! The charaters I like in this book are Anakin, Obi-Wan, Floria, & Dane. This is a great book filled with humor, adventure, & mystery!

    Downfall for this series

The past 2 jedi quest books that I have read were very good in my opinion. But this one was kinda a downfall for the series. It had a good beginning and I thought it would be good. The only thing I really didnt care for was the middle. And the fact that all these bounty hunters were almost like working together. But it did get better in the end.I like how it tells what happened to Didi and Astri, how they were replaced by Dexster. But to me it was just an alright book.

    answers

I just started reading this book today and I can tell it will be good. I don't read these books for all the different missions and adventures, but I read them to learn lessons and find answers to similar problems I have like the book. I too have a Master and there are many times we don't share our thoughts. As an apprentice this is hard. If you have a Master, you want to be by there side always. To be there for them and have them care for you as well. But there are times no one will talk. Sometimes you can read their mind, but that does not always work. So as I start this book I am interested to see how Anakin and Obi-Wan deal with their emotions and relationship. I believe page 33 is very important in the book, where Anakin can't stand the silence, but also page 8 intrested me the most I think. Jude Watson is a very good writter for she can put her words to the core of many kids problems. Page 8 at the bottom says, 'silence fell between them. Anakin was used to that. Usually their silence felt comfortable...' This is exactly what I'm going through! Probably what many kids are going through with their mentors. That's why reading these books are so helpful. They help us study our own thoughts and emotions to make corrections in our own lives. When you read Watson's books, make sure you analyze the meanings of every lesson she writes. Part of being and author is writting the truth. What we write is developed from life itself!

    Jedi Quest...a new hope

After reading Jedi Quest #1, I was slightly disappointed by the flat storyline. But #2 is well done, exciting, fast-paced, and insightful. Like the Jedi Apprentice books, Jedi Quest has the amazing facility to incorporate some sense of wisdom within its simple lines. There are heartbreaking hints of Anakin's arrogance and inner darkness that we will see in Darth Vader. The cover, however, was not particularly well done. The corvette looks like a children's toy, and the starburst looks like something from ClipArt.
