Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Maggie L. Schrock
The Star Wars saga comes to life before the reader's eyes with this captivating book. Anakin Skywalker is discovered as a young boy, and Qui-Gon senses the Force in him. Rescued from slavery, Anakin grows up and becomes a Jedi, eventually marrying Padme. After turning to the dark side and a terrible battle with his mentor, Anakin's body is left burned and mangled; Darth Sidious turns him into Darth Vader. Living a life on the dark side, Vader ends up in a fight to the death with his son, Luke. Arranged scrapbook style, Fry includes snapshots of exciting scenes from each of the six movies with a detailed summary of the main events. Episodes one through three have pictures from the most recently released movies. It is a blast to the past from episode four on, as the pictures are from the legendary original movies. Higher-level vocabulary would make this a difficult read for young children; however, full-color photos will capture the interest of even a struggling reader. Reviewer: Maggie L. Schrock

    luv

i so complete in luv that the whole saga is completed in one book. finally, i get to read and see the frames page to page seeing and waiting for both trilogies to be one full movie book. i can not wait for this one to come out in september 1st, this year, this coming fall. The Force is with me always. i am thinking that if i could go from episode iv to episode 3 going the other way around like the time i saw the 1st trilogy when i was a young boy and thought SW will not come back and after episode vi, that was it. but until the next trilogy was brought up, i already think this is the finale trilogy to the saga, its great and somehow sad." over and over i will go over the book when i pick it up and follow the blu ray saga with it. how cool.
