Reprints the stories from individual issues #9-12 of Star Wars Tales. All four issues' covers are included, though with a border that crops the outer edges of art all around. Also, the four covers chosen are NOT the four alternate photo covers from the individual issues. However, the collection's cover of Han Solo is a bonus and quite striking to see with its vivid colors. There are several serious stories, such as Darth Vader versus Darth Maul, as well as the psychological inner monologue of a Stormtrooper on his missions. There are also several silly, ridiculous in my opinion, stories. Star Wars Tales was a combination of serious and silly stories by design, and this is merely a collected reprint. The serious stories take up the greater portion of the collection. Whether any of these stories are to be considered canon or not in the Star Wars universe isn't clearly decided yet by Lucas. However, it is clear that the silly stories are not meant to be taken seriously at all.
