A novel approach reinvents the franchise

I rarely buy Soundtracks these days as they are all starting to sound familiar, but Kiner takes 30 yr old music and breathes new life into by infusing a lot of percussive elements as well as middle eastern flourishes that tell you this is not your normal star wars score and breaks new ground in a very pleasing way. Kiner is to be congratulated for his handling of a timeless franchise and one of the most recognizable filmscores of all time.
