A quick easy read for Star Wars enthusiasts of all ages. Much of the story draws from the six Star Wars movies but told from the viewpoint of Darth Vader. This story helped fill in some of the details that weren't fully explained in the movies. An enjoyable 140 pages.

In the Star Wars universe, everyone thinks Darth Vader is the Big Bad. But really, he's just a guilty, self-loathing human who was so afraid of losing Padme that he let himself be manipulated. I feel bad for him, but at the same time, his actions were monsterous. He killed so many people. And while I think I can forgive him for killing once, maybe even twice, I can't ignore what he did: killing all those who opposed the Emperor without a second thought. But at least he was redeemed in the end. Despite all the crimes Darth Vader committed, Ani still deserves happiness. I hope he and Padme are together now.

In episode six infinity vader survives endor along with the emperor. His armor is repaird and painted white and he is good again. Personaly i thought that if luke did turn on vaders terms and killed the emperor they wouldve created a linage for the empire and made it better. Thr rebels would be forgivven and the high human culture would go away. I wish a book would be written in that perrspective. Or better yet that love was alowed in the jedi order. Kids born from jedi would become jedi. If love was alowed anikan wouldnt have turned. Just some thoughts.
