Overview

A Star WarsTM Roleplaying Game campaign set during the dawn of the Old Republic...

Make the jump to lightspeed 4,000 years before the Battle of Yavin to a time when Jedi Knights and Sith Lords clashed in galactic conflict. This campaign guide offers both players and Gamemasters a wide array of new options that can be used to craft a unique roleplaying game experience. As the galaxy plunges into one war after another, the forces of the Republic, along with their Jedi allies, struggle to protect themselves from hordes of invading Mandalorians, tyrannical Sith lords, and traitorous allies on every front.

Featuring new game material drawn from a variety of sources, and including characters, weapons, vehicles, and droids, this book presents an entire campaign during the violent days of the Old Republic. This book also contains new Force powers, Force techniques, and Force secrets for Jedi and Sith characters, as well as new options for characters of all classes. Players can take advantage of new talents, feats, and other options to play a Mandalorian neo-crusader, a Republic soldier battling against the forces of Darth Revan and Darth Malak, or a Jedi in exile on the run from the Sith.

    KOTOR is Back

This is a wonderful supplement for any GMs and players looking for adventure in the Old Republic. The books comes chalk full of new goodies. 10 new species (including the Cathar, Miraluka and Selkath), a slew of new talents for all the classes, many new force powers (including, Valor, Fear and Kinetic Combat), 2 new Prestige Classes (the Corporate Agent and the Gladiator) as well as detailed descriptions of all the major powers (including the Republic, the Sith, the Mandalorians and the Jedi) as well as many new worlds to visit and ships to get you there!

All in all, this is a great book. I definitely suggest it for anyone wanting to run a Saga game in the Old Republic era!

Great book for the fans of KotOR video games...

I am a huge fan of the video games. I also love the Star Wars tabletop RPG. This is the best of both worlds. Everything you need in this one book for an exciting adventure in the KotOR setting. Great options for all classes and a lot of info on Mandos for those looking to play one. Simply perfect.

    Star Wars Kotor guide

Very useful if you want to use this time-era to roleplay. Also if you want to use the mandalorians, sith soldiers, or republic soldiers. New species and talents for classes are pretty good. Still can't be a Mando without house rules though. My only problem with this is not just this book but the whole Star Wars RP books. The classes are not really that balanced I mean theres not really a point to be a nobel, I've seen a few that want to play soldier and jedi guardian and nothing else really. Unlike DnD their characters are much more balanced and useful. Mostly the cleric is what gets me, look at the difference between weapon damage. A blaster pistol does 3d6 so 3-18 by itself and the Star wars RP does not have a medic in its serries? I still play it and a few of my friends and hopefully we can get a few more into it...
