This is an excellent little piece of storytelling that brings us into the first events of Heart of the Swarm. The glimpse into Kerrigan's past is tragic, brutal and galvanizing; we learn more about her motivations and strength through this struggle to realize who and what she is. This is beautifully written and illustrated as well. I highly recommend reading it!
