This could be made into a movie, as the writing was explicit and read like a flowing ocean, as the quest in search of a shield of the gods that seems real as it was a device like a cable box that protected a planet from bad weather out of harms way. They saved the planet from doom as they opened a gate to the gods much like the parting of the sea in the bible. They discovered a religious order who worshiped the sunrise and a colony of pirates that lived as seawolfs in a dying crumbling world. In order to save them they had to place the shield in the correct place as it slowly opened up the gates to let the water in. They didnt know what they would find on this planet they discovered people there but all thinking the shield was only a myth. Finding a library, they read through records of ancient history that told where to locate the shield. It was good to read a book that was based on a sci fi show, as the two female writers were very accurate in the actors personalities.
