Starr Dustby Lauren N Sharman
Two lost souls. One thing in common. Nothing left to lose. Only Brady McCassey could get himself into so much trouble by just looking at a pretty girl. For the bad boy who knows better than to let his guard down, mistakes like that can be deadly. The first time Starr sees Brady, she knows he's the reason she was so drawn to Hagerstown, Maryland. Her horrifying past behind her, Starr has dedicated her life to living in peace, and is surprised by how easily she accepts the violence surrounding Brady and his tight-knit family. When Brady's blindsided by ghosts from his past, it's Starr who comes to his rescue—twice—forcing him to put down his flask and take a good look in the mirror. Finally ready to face his demons, Brady sobers up and takes on the roll of leader, as the McCasseys band together and stand behind him.

Brady McCassey has been doing alittle too much drinking moonshine of late and not paying attention to his surroundings. Brady feels like he's being watched but can't seem to pinpoint why. When Blackie and Rebel find six unused bullets at various properties Brady's spine gets cold fast. Brady returns home Kane confronts him with unused tools of counterfeiting money. It's only then that Brady realizes how much trouble he's really in. Kane suggests that Brady meet with Starr again to learn what she knows from her Tarot Reading. Brady scoffs at the idea but follows Kane's advice. Starr understands that Brady has a hard time trusting people but nonetheless feels honored by the token trust he gives her. Starr's past isn't a bed of roses either yet she follows the path to peace anyway. What will Brady's plan of action be? Will Brady admit his feelings? Will Starr take a leap of faith? Your answers await you in Starr Dust. I can totally relate to Brady's issues of trust myself. Giving trust isn't easy for any one but it's specially hard when trust has been broken. I love these characters! I love their stories! They keep getting better and better with each book.
