The sixth in the series Cut & Run by Abigail Roux and it's SO worth the wait! Ty Grady and Zane Garrett are back and both are called on to come home to help out their parents. First Ty goes home to re-tin a roof on a shed and takes Zane with him which gets his grandfather to open a can of worms that cannot be sealed back. Then Zane gets the call to go home to Texas, his father has been shot by trespassers on his ranch. He's not happy to go but he does, and gets involved in family politics as well as a mystery of what is going on at the ranch. And he misses his partner. Abigail Roux has crafted yet another great book in this series. There are funny, funny parts that had me laughing out loud, a few spots that had me almost crying, and some really hot scenes between Ty and Zane that we have come to expect. So many times, by the sixth book, the books begin to get formula-like or boring but the Cut & Run Series only gets better and better. This one may just be the best of the series!

Love these guys - just love them!! And the fact that there are 9+ books in the series plus 3+ in other series with secondary characters make it an epic read. Enjoyed it from beginning to end. Love, sex, drama, angst, mystery and wonderful, unique characters - what more could you ask for? I read "Warrior's Cross" right after book #4 because those MC's play prominent roles in book #5 of the Cut & Run series. I also read "Shock & Awe" after book #7 because Nick and Kelly's timeline in the Sidewinder series starts right after that story about New Orleans. Then I went back to the Cut & Run and read #8 (Ball & Chain). Then I read the short "High & Tight" and then "Cross Shield" - both from the Sidewinder series. Lastly I finished back with Ty and Zane in #9 (Crash & Burn). I basically read the books from the Sidewinder series interspersed in the Cut & Run series by the date they were published.

This series is exceptional. Ty and Zane grab hold of the reader and do not let go. Start with this first book and follow in order as you share their lives, their work and their psychosis. These guys are addictive in the best way. There is a well written story in each book as the reader learns more of their secrets and they have many secrets. Good character development including secondary characters. They reader is left wanting more of them and their story.

This is one in a collecions of several books and a good read. The character developement is good and they seem to get better with each book. The characters are not the stereo types that people seem to write about and give healthy gay relationships. Who want to be in a realtionship and limited baggage.

I just love this series, Abigail Roux is just amazing. This book makes me want to go back and read this series from the start as I anxiously await the next book, while hoping she never finds a reason to stop writing about Ty and Zane. This book is a mix of humor, (with great 1 liners from Ty) and heart felt emotion. Ms. Roux has written this series so well you feel like you really know the characters and can't wait to find out what they are doing next even if it is just sitting on a beach somewhere. I'm that person who thinks they are Ty but really is a Zane looking for the perfect Ty to come along :)
