Editorial Reviews

School Library Journal
YA-- When the Ahimsa, a nearly immortal race, become more intellectual, allowing the Pashti to assume more control of the galaxy, a renegade Ahimsa plans to restore his race to its ``rightful place'' by using the violent, barbaric race of humans to destroy the Pashti leaders, thus leaving the Ahimsa blameless and Earth holding the bag. The quality of the writing, good characterization, and element of tension all combine to make Starstrike a superior sci/fi tale. YA readers who have exhausted the library's supply of Jerry Pournelle and Larry Drake novels will welcome it.

2004 - Book That Relates to Our History - Politics

This book is one that reminds you that when push comes to shove - all types of people from different countries can join forces together & not only out think an alian who thinks that he can become a person like Hitler & make the world do as he wishes. All the differnt elite companies from each countries forgien forces on this alien space ship come to trust each other & find out that they really are tired of fighting & losing friends & family members just because the politions decide that they want these wars. They are disappointed when they come back to see what has become to our world & all the people who have died because of the head people in Politics were considered crazy due to what they told other people about the aliens. However, the people from our world on this ship tell everyone that this fighting between each other needs to stop & they have a ship along with technoligy that can stop this fighting. This would be a true blessing if people could stop their fighting & join together because we have so much to offer each other & they can still pray & believe in thier gods that they pray to without killing each other!
