Make sure you have tissues on hand, as I guarantee you will definitely shed some tears in the beginning set-up, but that's what will make the journey to the "Happily Ever After" so meaningful. This is a wonderful book on overcoming your past, forgiveness, finding love, and family. If you haven't read the 1st two books in her Treading Water trilogy, you definitely should before reading this one. Again all of them are wonderful, and I was so hooked I read late into the night to finish each book in 4 hours!!
I stumbled on this author, and since then have gone through all her books. I absolutely love all of the books by Marie Force. She has a way of writing sensual contemporary romance that's real, where the relationships develop without the ridiculous, soap opera-like melodrama that one might find in cheaper contemporary romances. I have the feeling that her books could easily translate to on-screen romance films.
If you haven't checked out her other books - definitely go for the Fatal Series if you like suspense. It's what hooked me into Marie Force. My other favorites were the Gansett Island Series, another another amazing contemporary romance series.

Another Marie Force Masterpiece... WOW!!! And when you have finished Book three move on to Book 4 and read Kate and Reid's story.. Could not put it down and could not go to bed with these four books unfinished... The story, the characters and the family dynamics in these books in OUTSTANDING... Some of the very best books I have ever read (and that is a lot of books)... I cannot review the books because I wouldn't spoil the experience for anything... BUT, don't miss the opportunity to enjoy some of the best reading ever...

New Favorite! Marie Force has become my favorite author. Just when I thought she couldn't top Sam and Nick, here come the O'Malley's. I am now reading the McCarthys' series and am enthralled. Please keep them coming...I can't read them fast enough!!!

Another good book--but was really glad that I read the "Falling for Love" first. It is really best to do that.
