"The finale to the Treading Water trilogy was an enchanting lesson in ensuring a low point in your life doesn't define the person you become. It is wonderfully written with characters that envelope you in their world. This book is an excellent ending to a series of books that truly pulled at my heartstrings." --Starting Over, A Reviewer Top Pick, Night Owl Reviews.

Editorial Reviews

Joyfully Reviewed
Treading Water creates an emotional firestorm within the reader. It shines the light on the good and the bad in life and proves that one moment can change everything and it’s never too late to find love. Marie Force grabbed my heart and squeezed every ounce of emotion out of it but most importantly her monumental story left me blissful. Treading Water may be fiction but it gives me hope; hope in everyday people and happily ever after. I cannot wait for the next book in this trilogy!

Make sure you have tissues on hand, as I guarantee you will definitely shed some tears in the beginning set-up, but that's what will make the journey to the "Happily Ever After" so meaningful. This is a wonderful book on overcoming your past, forgiveness, finding love, and family. If you haven't read the 1st two books in her Treading Water trilogy, you definitely should before reading this one. Again all of them are wonderful, and I was so hooked I read late into the night to finish each book in 4 hours!! I stumbled on this author, and since then have gone through all her books. I absolutely love all of the books by Marie Force. She has a way of writing sensual contemporary romance that's real, where the relationships develop without the ridiculous, soap opera-like melodrama that one might find in cheaper contemporary romances. I have the feeling that her books could easily translate to on-screen romance films. If you haven't checked out her other books - definitely go for the Fatal Series if you like suspense. It's what hooked me into Marie Force. My other favorites were the Gansett Island Series, another another amazing contemporary romance series.

I've read all 3 books in this series and this book ties them all together nicely. A little too much graphic sex to suit me and The characters seem to fall in love quite quickly but all in all it's a lovely story. I would reccomend the whole series, I felt like I knew all the charactera well by the end of this book.

Although i might not read the fourth book, this series was great. The author is very talented! You really grow to connect with the family and go through many emotions. However, after reading 3 of the books i am bored with the series. This author still gets 4 stars.

I enjoyed this book. It could have been a stand-alone rather than part of the Treading Water Series as it didn't involve the characters in the first 2 books at all other than the occasional mention of Aidan and Clare. This book is totally about Brandon O'Malley and the rest of the O'Malley family. In book 2 of this series, Brandon is inappropriate with Clare, Aidan's fiance, and is forced by the family into rehab. He comes out remorseful, and while he is renovating an old building he meets a little girl, then her mother. This book is abouto remorse, redemption, and second chances. Read this book!
