This book is written in short chapters that address many issues newlyweds have, as well as includes several thought-provoking questions to discuss together and concrete ideas to improve your relationship. The chapters on family relationships and couples communication were especially helpful. I would not recommend this book for newlyweds beyond age 30, nor for any couple who is experiencing circumstances beyond basic newlywed issues (ie: partner with alcoholism or a physical illness). It is not deep enough to extend to such circumstances.

This is a great book to help you and your new spouse learn more about one another. The book addresses issues you will encounter your first year of marriage and ask the tough questions. Very stimulating for converstion and discussion.
