This training circular (TC) provides all Department of Defense (DOD) Airborne personnel with techniques and training guidelines to maintain an Airborne force. It also updates FM 3.21.220, dated 23 September 2003. This publication supersedes FM 3-21.220/MCWP 3-15.7/AFMAN11-420/NAVSEA, SS400-AF-MMO-010, 23 Sept 2003.

This book applies to the U.S. Army, the U.S. Army National Guard (ARNG), the U.S. Army Reserve (USAR), the United States Marine Corps, the Department of the Navy, and the Department of the Air Force.
