    This is a must-have book!

I used an earlier edition of this paperback book for a finance class about 14 years ago, and that was about 1 year too late for my first class in statistics. When I first saw this book, I immediately knew its value. It is THE EASIEST way to learn statistics, and it is indeed written in plain English. If you must learn about statistics or must complete a class on statistics, do yourself a big favor and get this book!

A Great Workbook for Struggling Students

Brightman does exactly what the title states, he explains 'Statistics in Plain English.' If you are intimidated by textbooks filled with endless formulas, this book is definately for you. It can be used with several textbooks, and I have successfully used it to help students who thought they were beyond hope. Brightman uses a self-evaluation format for students to prove to themselves that they can answer conceptual questions about covered material. The learning activities are timeless and do not require the use of computers.
