Editorial Reviews

Jennifer Gwendoline
Stay is a wonderful paranormal romance. It is fast paced and intriguing and totally absorbing. I really felt like I was there inside the book. It is full of suspense and danger and of course a little bit of romance.

The characters are brilliant, especially the protagonist, Callie. I loved the fact that she is just a normal girl who is thrust into the world of the paranormal and she struggles to accept who she really is: a faerie princess and her rightful place is on the throne as the fa

    Horrible

Love triangle...bad, there was so much back and forth I got whiplash
Grammatical errors...really bad, literally did not know the difference between to and too. That might be a little TOO picky? I'm not sure.
Inconsistencies...rediculous. Who is kidnapped and helpless one day, and then beats that person to a pulp the next, well like two weeks later, but still? And that was even before she trained to be a kickbutt warrior in literally two or three days. Give me a break.
Dialogue...worst of the worst. This is what ruined it for me. Who speaks with absolutely NO contractions...ever? I kept changing what they said in my head so it would actually sound right.
Overall, it had potential, but with the editing and pace issues it wasn't (wow, a contraction) worth a dollar.

    GET AN EDITOR !!!!!!!!!!!!!

This could have been a great book if there weren't so many spelling and grammar mistakes . Seriously it's our not out ,or not on and a few words were missing isn't there supposed to be a lot of people who go through this over and over to make sure there arn't any mistakes (or at least very few) because i think that they should be fired because most grade 1's wouldn't make these errors . On top of that how is it that not one person in this book speaks using contractions nobody says every word anymore unless they are pissed off hell look at how many i use in this review . If there had been more time spent on this book i'm sure there wouldn't be so many bad reviews on it . To make this sound better i did like the characters they were described well some could have been described better like i want to know more about jennas background and why shes so powerful, plus i don't think some of there wings were talked about at all and really who falls in love with the first random guy thats nice to them in like a day . The book should have been longer with more of a story to it all that shouln't have happened in a week and it wouldn't either stretch it out so what if it's harder to write and think of ideas that's what friends and family are for then at least you could be happy with the book even though i'm sure you were happy with thisor you wouldn't have published it . Wait one or two chapters to get into a relationship not just have the book start out and have oooooo! Special bond i love you then aww first kiss i love you too!! Give it time to develop . Give the whole thing time to develop jeeeezzzzzzzz!
I said some nice things about the book and they're true but they're out weighed by the fact that it made me want to rip my hair out and i now feel bad for my mom who had to endure my freak out sessions throughout the book. Its ok so buy it if you wish but read the reviews so you know what you're in for.

    GOOD LUCK READING.

    BAD

The story itself could have been good, but it was written too quickly and carelessly. Also, the interactions between characters were highly unrealistic and forced.

    Could have been better

This book had tons of potential. The story idea was great, but there were several grammar errors and I had some issues with the way some of the characters acted. Overall though, it was a pretty entertaining read.

    Read this..

I like the book overall...but the rushed feel of it and the characters' overreactions and rash decisions make it highly unbelievable. When I read books such as these, I like to feel as if I can imagine being there myself. The writing style of this book makes it hard to feel that. I think the book should be free personally...but its okay. I don't reccommend it nor do I not reccommend it.

    Decent read : /

So first off the concept is amazing and i love the characters but with that said so much more could have been done...they jump from story line to story line and never go into detail or really explain things. In the end it was just okay. Its too short and it wasnt extremely well written. There were also a lot of spelling mistakes. If you have the time its a cute read but dont go into it expecting an amazing story because you will be dissapointed...

    Callie Rose, Fairy Queen

I received a free review copy. This didn't impact my opinion in any way, although it did stretch me into a genre I hadn't read before. If you like books about fairies, this would probably be an enjoyable read. I was hoping I would get past the wings to enjoy the story, but it wasn't like Harry Potter or Twilight where the story is more than the elements. Callie tended to solve her boy problems by punching them out, and I didn't think that was a healthy approach. The story was interesting. The characters just didn't appeal to me. Since this is a YA book and was clearly aimed at a younger audience, a younger reviewer might give it a better rating.

    One AWESOME read!!!!

I have read alot of good Fae books, but this is one of the best. I didn't want to put it down. I love the connection between the characters and their parts in creating this must read book. I can not wait for the next one to come out. C.C Jackson did not disappoint this reader!!!

    Fairy-tastic!

I really liked this book. I really got into it and read it in 2 days. It was a refreshing break from all the Vampire novels I've been reading lately. I can't wait to see what happens in the next one ;)

    A very cute read!

Very Cute read! I loved how I was transported to this very unique world of The Fae.
Callie is just an ordinary girl, or so she thinks, until one night she is forcibly taken from the confines of her home, by an ultra attractive man. She can't help feeling the pull and attraction to him and is completely perplexed why. Callie learns from her captor that they are destined to be together, and that she is actually the heir to the throne in Petrona. The Land of The Fae. Fairies.
To make matters worse, the current Queen is a phony and a tyrant who took over after Callie's parents (the true Queen and King) fled the land to protect Callie. Now Callie must choose: run away from her destiny or stay and fight for what is truly hers.
A quick read, really fun. Love the use of magic and the elements. Callie can sure kick some ass.

    It's Fantastical! (fantastic and magical)

It was a mystical book that I could not put down. However, there definately were some gramatical errors. I cannot wait for the next book in the series! This book makes everything really easy to understand. I can picture her wings behind her as she flies around...

    I LOVED THIS BOOK!!

This is the first book that I have read in years. I know that sounds crazy but I never seem to have time to read anymore between work and kids. I started reading this one night at work on my iPhone and I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN. Every free second that I got, I was pulling it up and reading it. I can't wait for the next book in the series. I hope that it's out soon!

    Cute Read!

Enchantingly Cute! Very Fast Read with some editing issues. But overall I enjoyed the story. It's about a girl who must overcome major changes in her life, her parents death, and finding out she's a fairy princess that everyone is depending on to take back her thrown. I would be interested in reading more about these characters......
