Steelin' the Beatles

All Music Guide - Denise Sullivan

Some very good interpretations of Beatles songs on steel guitar.

This is is an interesting style, with Goldmark choosing particularly melodic Beatles songs to play on steel guitar. Songs like I Will and Baby's In Black sound great on this instrument. Joe even includes some lesser known songs written by the Beatles, such as George Harrison's Awaiting On You All and Bad To Me, written by Lennon and McCartney. Production is handled well, too, with a clever title and cover. Very original and interesting.
