Custom designed for NOOK devices, the Stella Light is perfect for reading in reduced-light settings. It clips to the top of your NOOK device and/or protective cover, focusing clean, warm LED light where you need it most. The light arm, encased in a rubberized material, is remarkably flexible, allowing you to adjust the light head to the ideal position, and the matte texture minimizes any glare from the LED. The smart "n" logo at the base of the arm also serves as an on/off switch, and the rubberized pads on the spring clip protect your device from scratches.

 • Dimensions: 9" L (with arm at full extension); light head 0.5" W
 • PC/ABS plastic with steel gooseneck and silicone gooseneck sleeve
 • Suitable for all NOOK devices
 • Requires 2 CR2032 batteries (not included)

I have both the Lyra and Stella lights and will compare them. I use both, one upstairs and one down. I don't always have a light attached to my Nook, but rather only when needed. The Stella has warmer (yellow) light. This is easier on the eyes, especially if you're reading in complete darkness. The Lyra is colder (blue) light, a little harsher. The base of the Stella swings out farther from the Nook. You can see in the picture how far it sticks out. I don't like that, but the good part is that the on/off button is down there near the clasp--easy to locate, easy to push, and silent! On the other hand, the Lyra light button makes a noticeable click, so if you've got a very light sleeper next to you, it might stir them. However, the Lyra base is smaller, doesn't stick out as much. Both are lightweight, both very flexible, both will glare if you don't position them right, but the Stella is a little less likely to glare. The Stella is sleeker, cooler looking, if that is important to you. (I'm more about function). Batteries are the same--CR2032--available MUCH cheaper on Amazon than in any store. I buy them 5 or 10 at a time and have tried Sony, Maxell, and Everready. So far for me, battery life has been great, although as cheap as those batteries are, I'm not too concerned about longevity. The batteries that come with the light might not last as long as ones you buy down the line. I like CR2032's enough that I wasn't going to buy this light if it didn't use them. So, I read with both lights. Which would I buy if I could only have one? That's a tough question. While I like that the Lyra doesn't stick out as far, I love the silent on/off switch on the Stella, and the Stella light really is easier on my light sensitive eyes. I'd probably go for this one.

Lightweight, very flexible and wonderful, warm light. This is an excellent accessory for any Nook.

Hands down, the best clip-on light for Nooks (and hard copy books too, for that matter). The light it softly diffused, non-glare, and with the LEDs, the battery will last a LONG time. Really, I bought it because I'm amazed at how 'bendy' the neck is...it literally stays exactly where you move it, without having to flex it back and forth a million times to get the right angle. I'm pretty sure this light is made of witchcraft. ;) WIN!!!

I have the Nook Simple Touch (2nd Edition) and this light fits and matches perfectly! The lighting is diffused (no bright spots) and easy on the eyes. The neck is flexible but stays put. Has a very sleek, Batman quality about it!

I just picked up my first NOOK and I wanted to have a light. I read about other lights that are spotty and have a blue glare, so I asked about this one. The salesman was shocked that I knew about the other light so much, thanks to other reviews and recommended this one. I love it. It is even, doesn't blind you and enough light for a very dark surroundings. I highly recommend it over the other one.

And despite saying it doesn't, this does come with a set of batteries included. I wish I had known this before buying a pack of CR2032 batteries. At least I will have spares now.

I purchased this light based on reviews, and I am not disappointed at all with it's style or illumination properties. My only gripe is that the light is dead after 500 pages worth of reading in the dark. Thankfully I was able to find cheap replacements, but I had not planned to have to replace the batteries this soon. For that, I'll deduct one star. Overall, this light is well worth the extra couple bucks.

I absolutely love this light for reading in the dark with my NOOK. It clips on to my case and stays in place very nicely. It is easy to adjust and the quality of the light is wonderful. It lights up the screen very evenly without any bright spots on the screen. It is also a very natural, soft quality light, which is very easy on your eyes. I definitely recommend paying the extra money for the Stella over the Lyra, you won't regret it!

I purchased a Nook Simple Touch about a month ago with plans of reading it during the day and my Tablet at night. I soon dicovered that there were times that I would need a light for the ST as I love it so much and do use it at night. I was happy to see this Stella light available. The light is soft and warm..no bright spots. I love the LED light. The neck is very flexible and does not get in the way. I am very happy with this purchase and highly reccommend if you need a great reading light for your Nook ST or any other reader for that matter!

This is the best , no glare or reflection from its 2 small leds with diffuser. A soft yellow light similar to incandescent. Buy it! Uses 2 #2032 batteries buy them on line for less than $2 each not $4-6 in retail stores.

At first I was hesitant to purchase the the Stella light for my nook simple touch. I took a risk and bought it over the Lyra relying simply on other people's reviews. Guess what? It's worth the extra dollars. It doesn't leave a glare on your screen when you read (definitely easy on the eyes even when you're reading in the dark). Oh and the Stella light does come with the batteries :) Everyone should buy the Stella light for their nook simple touch!

I absolutely love this light! I originally had the Lyra light but it was very blue and glared off of the screen. I didnt like it at all. I returned it and bought this one after reading some reviews that it had a much warmer light, everything you hear is true. The light has a very soft glow to it and casts a very pleasant yellowish light, like a nice lamp, but unlike a lamp, you can have it on and not disturb your partner when you are reading and the other is asleep. The style is very futuristic and goes well with the more modern style of the Nook. The on/off button is located on the base of the light and is the n logo, which is very cool. The neck of the light is extremely flexible and stays put exactly where you left it. There is no springiness in the neck that you need to push farther than you want and have it push back an inch or more. It is very easy to maneuver. All in all it is an extremely good product for the Nook and I highly recommend it. P.S. Amazon does not carry this product. You either need to buy it in store or on this website.

The light does not have any hot spots. Also you can bend it in any way. I liked the fact the it is super light. I previously had a light that required AAA batteries. It was too heavy. Yes, the batteries are more expensive but its much lighter. You just have to pick what is important to you.

Perfect for reading in bed without disturbing the snoring beast laying beside me. It is lightweight, flexible, and grips beautifully. The light is not harsh, and you can always get it into the perfect position. It also fits wonderfully in my purse, for use on the plane for night flights. Love this light. Worth every penny.

This is a MUST HAVE for NOOK Simple Touch and beyond. Very effective, soft light. Was great for me to use on vacation with my NOOK while sharing a hotel room with my early-to-bed family and likewise, for my son to use with as a traditional reading light. Did not disturb anyone and made all pages super easy to see and read. Recommended highly!

I have purchased many book lights over the years, but the Stella is by far my favorite. The warm LED makes nighttime reading much more relaxing and enjoyable. The difference quite surprised me. Also, this book light is very flexible, but it stays put, without flopping about. I use it with my Nook, but I think it would be great with books, too. A great product!

I just got this light and am very happy with it. It is very pleasant to read by and clips onto my Nook or the cover. I highly recommend this. It is relatively inexpensive and works great!

I've purchased serveral lights for my NST and this one wins, hands down!! It doesn't give off that "blueish" hue like a lot of the lights out there, but makes the background a more natural white (well... off-white). The long neck stays in place VERY well, and even found that I can attach it at the top of my device and bend it back all the way and use it as a stand. Not straight up and down of course, but it does provide about a 20 degree reading angle, which come in quite handy at times. Great design! Love it!!

It's a beautiful, wonderful light, the flexibility is really cool and the glow is alright, it could be better but it does an ok job of an even glow. I have a major problem with the batteries! It's been a few weeks and the batteries died already. I feel like this is going to be a very annoying light that will require a big supply of these odd batteries on hand for when it dies. I WISH THERE WAS A LIGHT THAT PLUGGED INTO THE DEVICE!!!!!!! I hate this battery draining annoyance that it is. Besides that, it really is a truly beautiful device.

I love the design and size of the Stella Light, and was very happy with the page illumination. But, for me the batteries only lasted about 10 - 12 hours. I purchased new batteries and had the same result. I would hesitate to advise anyone to spend the money on this one.
