Early in her career, Pamela attended the Teachers College Reading and Writing Project, founded by Lucy Calkins, igniting her passion for nurturing young voices. Committed to Authentic Leadership, she prioritizes self-reflection and community input, personally connecting with each of the 525 students under her care.
Beyond her professional roles, Pamela is a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, integrating her passion for education into her personal life. Her commitment to innovative learning is evident through her leadership in establishing a STEM lab at her school six years ago. As Assistant Principal, she played a crucial role in a historic event, facilitating student engagement with astronauts aboard the International Space Station using Amateur Radio, inspiring a new generation of scientists and engineers.
