Overview

Three complete novels: One for the Money, Two for the Dough, and Three to Get Deadly, from the New York Times #1 bestselling author, Janet Evanovich!

Here’s where it all began—the three novels that first brought us Stephanie Plum, that bounty hunter with attitude who stepped out of Trenton’s blue-collar “burg” and into the heart of America.

One for the Money: Stephanie’s all grown up and out on her own, living five miles from Mom and Dad and doing her best to sever the world’s longest umbilical cord. Her mother is a meddler and her grandmother is a few cans short of a case. Out of work and out of money, Stephanie blackmails her bail-bondsman cousin Vinnie into giving her a try as an apprehension agent. Stephanie knows zilch about the job requirements, but she figures her new pal, el-primo bounty hunter Ranger, can teach her what it takes to catch a crook. Her first assignment: nail Joe Morelli, a former vice cop on the run from a charge of murder one. Morelli’s the inamorato who charmed Stephanie out of her virginity at age sixteen. There’s still powerful chemistry between them, so the chase is interesting.

Two for the Dough: Stephanie takes to the mean streets of Trenton, armed with attitude (not to mention stun guns and defense sprays), to find Kenny Mancuso, who recently shot his best friend and is on the run. Aided by the enigmatic Ranger, who knows a thing or two about bounty hunting, and by her irrepressible Grandma Mazur, Stephanie forms a shaky alliance with her favorite cop, Joe Morelli, for a tumultuous chase through back alleys and Grandma's favorite funeral parlors.

Three to Get Deadly: Stephanie is having a bad hair day—for the whole month of January. She’s looking for Mo Bedemier, Trenton’s most beloved citizen, who was charged with carrying concealed and skipped bail. To help her, she’s got Lula, a former hooker turned file clerk. Big, blonde, and black, Lula’s itching to lock up a crook in the trunk of her car. And Morelli, the cop with the slow-burning smile, is acting polite even after Stephanie finds more bodies than the Trenton PD has seen in years. That’s a bad sign for sure.

Funny and fabulous, Janet Evanovich is at her sparkling best in these three novels that launched a bestselling phenomenon.

Its cheaper to buy the bundle of 3. Though the 1st 2 were good, it was the 3rd that sealed my fate and made me have to buy the next bundle with 4,5 & 6 in it. I have many friends that rave about the series and though it starts off kinda slow, im glad i kept going. Id give book one & two each 4 stars and book three gets 5 stars. Its a funny yet relatable series. Though stephanie is the heroine, she has enough flaws that you can understand where she is coming from. Really love the books so far and will deffinately read the rest.

Evanovich has developed a great character in Stephanie Plum. The bounty hunter has plenty of quirks and the other characters are each unique so you can't help but want to learn more about the. Ms. Plum finds herself in a miriad of situations with such an assortment of associates that you sometimes sit on the edge of your seat and sometimes laugh out loud. The two male characters--one a sexy detective and the other a mysterious mercinary--are both wonderful. And one can't help but relate to the Plum family-- the grandmother it a real whippersnapper! You won't be able to stop ready the series -- it's addicting!

The bizarre adventures of Stephanie Plum remind one a lot of the John Lennon quote "Life is What Happens While Your're Making Other Plans".

I use to share these books, alternating buying them with a friend. She would then take them to a used book store , trade them in and get other books. I missed the books when they were gone. I scoured other book stores, bought them all, and gave them to another friend. Silly you say? How about this, I bought them all for my iPad! They won't be leaving me soon! Worth reading? Only if you love a good laugh. I have read other books by this author. I liked them all. If you only have one choice, the Stephanie Plum series is the one to cherish. What book lover only has one choice?

There is no better series. Ms Evanovich has created the best character ever. Was introduced to Stephanie many years ago by my Aunt and have loved every book by Janet Evanovich since. I read & re-read these books several times & love them just as much as the first time I read them. Thank you Ms Evanovich for some great reading fun!

Really enjoying this series. Each book is easy and quick to read. There's a little bit of everything....romance, humor, adventure. Stephanie's family is pleasantly quirky....just like mine! These books make an imaginative escape whether at the beach or curled up on the couch on a rainy day. I do recommend these when someone asks me what's something they might like to read. Haven't seen the movie based on the first book but heard it was so-so. Debbie Reynolds plays Grandma Mazur and Katherine Heigl is Stephanie so at least you have an idea what the a characters look like.

I'm a little late to the game, but I finally started reading this series. With One for the Money coming out in theatres, I wanted to try it out. What a fun series! It's a bit of a spin on the female detective. Stephanie Plum does some detecting, but she is really a Bounty Hunter. But, she's just learning her trade - so she has to get her arsenal of recovery agent tools - gun, stun gun, pepper spray, handcuffs. She has two dreamy men in her life and an interesting family. If you like female detective books, or funny mysteries, you'll love this series! I can't wait to start on number 4.

I loved this series and have so many more books to read in it and cant waite! This book is worth purchasing in the bundle , it comes out cheaper that way. Now the next set i think is the same for the next 3 books, but even cheaper, then u have to buy them single style. I think they should have more bundles available due to the amount i the stephanie plum series.

The books are addicting and a great to read. After book 12 or 3 it becomes predictable, but most authors are going to be like that. The first 10 were awesome, and after it just went down hill. I hope she makes a few changes to her writing style for this series. Overall I will still read them and have a few laughs.
