I read the sample and it began describing McQueen riding in the desert with his friends and his early life in California. There was a little garbage in the text aobut his sex life but not enough to bother me. I bought the book and the rest of the book is about Steves sex life from childhood up until he died. The last chapter actually cleaned up a little when Poret described the cancer treatments and death. I didn't realize Porter wrote such garbage.

I can't believe you consider having this thing on your shelf.... It's pure crap. I wanted to throw up when I finished it...

The last 100 or so pages are a repeat of a hundred or so of the pages. There is a printing error and Barnes & Noble should never have allowed that book to get on the shelves. Shame on you!

He was my idol since I was a kid back in the late 50's. This book was shocking, but yet I'm still a fan of Mr. McQueen"s. He really did it his way. Surprising to read all his conquests were not meaningful, but with his history it was inevitable. Good read
