There is nobody in Hollywood more well known than Steven Spielberg. It's almost a for sure hit when he agrees to make your movie. Think about it...Jaws, Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park, Shindler's List, and of course, my favorite, Saving Private Ryan. The list goes on for as long as you could possibly go. He is indeed the greatest director of all time. This book was completely outstanding, giving me all the information I could handle, but providing so much more. It talks of his family dating back to the early 1800's. It's amazing to look at his history and especially about all of his famous films. I loved the part about how he made movies when he was fifteen: Escape to Nowhere, Firelight (which became Close Encounters of the Third Kind when he made it with a Hollywood budget.) That part gave me much confidence that I could one day be a well-known director. I began making movies at the age of 13 without knowing that he did the same. I have now worked my way up to making almost feature-lengthed war movies, along with writing horror novels. Although I'm only 14 now, reading about his past and the successes he had when he was my age, it gives me the confidence I need to continue writing and directing. For anybody that enjoys reading, movies, Steven Spielberg, or just wants to learn some more information, I highly recommend this book. Truly amazing!
