    Highly Recommended

My 9 yr old grandson loves these books. He can't wait to get home from school so he can continue reading them. He also shares them with the other children in the 3rd grade and they all like them.

Recommended especially for someone who's "still a kid inside".

My first reaction when I saw it was, "Oh, it's a kids book". But then I thought, what the heck? I got it and read it in one sitting. It started seeming a bit lame, but quickly changed to "the kid in me'. All the way through it, I thought I was 9 years old running with these dogs and taking part in their adventures. Inside I felt a growing need to smile and laugh and usually did after I nudged my funny bone.

I became one of the dogs, hoping for successful endings to each piece of their journey. I didn't go so far as naming myself, but I imagined which one can I relate to, or which would be my best friend. Can you tell I love dogs?

Then came the ending and all I could think about was who do I know that would enjoy this. I mean, who is still a kid inside like me.
