Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Carrie Hane Hung
If it is gross, bad, smelly, yucky, and mucky, you just might find it in Stink's guide. There is a wide range of descriptions, facts, and trivia covered. Readers may find out more than they want to know about slime, smells, bodily functions, unusual food items, and more. Read about underwear trivia, flatulence, or the odd things animals eat like dung dinners. Learn what over indulgent Romans did after a meal. There's even information about trash. Certainly, this book is not for someone with a very weak stomach or a high sensitivity to gross topics. At the back of the book is a list of selected books that some readers may wish to pursue for more gross information. No index is available for quick searches on specific information. There are some stickers included in the book. Readers may be familiar with McDonald's "Stink" series; Stink is the brother of the character Judy Moody. Reviewer: Carrie Hane Hung
