I LOVE this book! I just got my sewing machine, and decided to go along with this book to learn some basic sewing skills. Each project lists the skills that you should learn from it, and she also gives examples of how these skills can be applied to other projects. The projects are fun but challenging, and they always look great when finished! The step-by-step instructions and illustrations are easy-to-follow, and they give enough information so that even a person new to sewing (like me) can easily follow along.

I haven't had a chance to really explore yet. It seems like it's easy to follow like a text book, but in a good way. I'd recommend.
