Stockholm Surrender by Lily Harlem is a wonderful, fast-paced, gripping, story of forbidden love.
Penny’s father is the British foreign minister, which puts their family in the spotlight. This time it has put Penny in danger when a desperate man decides to use her as leverage. After being kidnapped, Penny finds herself feeling things she shouldn’t be feeling.
This is one of the best books I have read in quite a while. I gave it a rating of 5 out of 5, and would have given it more if I could. I was completely hooked from the very beginning. Since I didn’t get the opportunity to read this one in one sitting, that meant I have to put it down a couple of times for sleep and work. When I wasn’t reading it, I was constantly thinking about it, and dying to get back to it.
This is a follow-up to Ms. Harlem’s short story, Stockholm Seduction, which is included as the prologue to this story, in case you have not read it. I loved Penny and Ty, and was tied in knots over their emotional roller coaster. The suspense is really intense and there were times that I actually gasped out loud. The writing is superb, the characters stole my heart, and the story kept me glued to the pages from start to finish. It’s an all-around outstanding read!

Stockholm Surrender by Lily Harlem
This book was a wonderful, crazy but sexy read. Yes all three! Lily is talented like that. Penny is away on a gap vacation with her friend drooling at all the delicious men but she has one man on her mind. The man with the dragon tattoo. He sounds so gorgeous with piercing blue eyes. Well Penny ends up getting kidnapped by this hot guy but I really wouldn’t call it kidnapping. They have both been lusting after one another so in a way it was like they were role playing. Well that is what I am going to think. It’s crazy to think you could ever surrender sexually to a kidnapper. Anyways I am rambling.
The purpose of the kidnapping is that Penny’s father is in politics and she could help him with his friend who was wrongfully put in prison.
It turns out that Penny can not keep her thoughts and dreams off of this man and she can’t wait to see him again. Crazy I know! Well they end up seeing each other again and she does help him in the end with his friend. They end up falling in love and only four people know the truth of how they actually met. There is sooo much more to this story but I can not and will not give it away. It has so many naughty things in there that you just have to read it for yourself. This really was a great story line by Lily. She is very imaginative to say the least.
