Overview

Undeterred by attending twelve schools across seven states and four countries while growing up as a missionary kid, and a near death experience at the hands of a terrorist bombing in Bogota, Colombia, Scott Meehan pursues a college degree, but drops out after one year. With nowhere else to turn, he joins the Army Special Forces and embarks on a 25-year Army career as an enlisted soldier and a commissioned officer. Meehan's military memoirs shares how he met his wife in the Amazon jungle, reveals his encounters with Russian KGB agents in Berlin, recalls his four deployments to the middle east, including his role in the capture of Saddam Hussein, and many other candid stories about his career as a multicultural ambassador of peace and goodwill.

Retired Major Scott Meehan is a recipient of the Bronze Star, has a B.A. degree in Education, M.A. in Computer Resources Information Management, and an M.B.A degree. He currently teaches 8th grade U.S. History in Florida.
