Meet the Author

Michael Aaron Rockland is the author of twelve books, but he is relatively new to fiction. However, his first novel, A Bliss Case was a New York Times Notable Book of the Year. Two of his earlier books also received considerable recognition. His first book, Sarmiento's Travels in the United States in 1847, was chosen by The Washington Post as one of the Fifty Best Books of the Year. Looking for America on the New Jersey Turnpike, a book he co-wrote, was selected by the New Jersey State Library and New Jersey Monthly magazine as one of the Ten Best Books Ever Written About New Jersey.
