This book was an excellent read. It gives great advice on raising domestic rabbits for their original purpose, commercially.

A must read if you have or are thinking about getting a rabbit. Even if you don't plan on breeding and just want a pet rabbit, Bob gives some of the best advice out there. Certainly a must read.

Whether you should buy this book or not depends on just how much you care about rabbits. If all you want to do is raise rabbits for meat and you don't give a damn about their comfort, then you will find this book invaluable. If, on the other hand, you want a pet and think that it has the right to decent housing, bedding and companionship, then steer clear - this book is not for you. Keeping rabbits in all wire enclosures with no bedding is an antiquated practice as the idea of not letting them out of their cages or you'll be in for big trouble! This book could be so much more! Just because someone has been doing something for a number of years doesn't mean they have been doing it right. There are a number of good rabbit books on the market - check them out first.
