    Pretty chicken book

At our house, that's what this book is known as. My daughter is a bit of a chicken nut. She competes and does well in 4-H, so we have books and publications that are solely informational. But this is the book we turn to for fun. The pictures are fabulous. Having said that, the book also contains a wealth of information about the different breeds, especially some of the rare and endangered breeds. If you like chickens at all, you will love this book.

    A must for poultry lovers

This is a fantastic book! Excellent combination of text and photographs. I have always had a fascination with poultry, especially chickens and this book is perfect in every way. The text is well researched and presented. The photographs are abundant and well suited for the text. I love the layout. I just can't think of enough good things to write about it! I hope Storey continues to publish books like this. I would love to see books on other breeds of livestock...sheep, goats, cattle, hogs.
