    Heart Tugging

The book had some heart tugging moments but needed more details. I found that quite a few of the descriptions of campers were more like quick snapshots and there was a lack of fluidity when each camper was mentioned. There were also a few typos. The author should be commended for his work and for his desire to share his experience with others.

Good story but not well written.

While the subject matter is "tug-at-your-heart," this reads like a high school essay that was never proof read. With extensive editing, it could be a really good story.

    Highly recommended

This book is inspiring, heart-warming and just an endearing story. It is a testiment of what these children have to offer, and how much unconditional love they give and inspire from others.

    short, sweet. something to consider

coming from a church with a strong special needs ministry we see the effects of open acceptance all of the time. a disabled child may be a lot of work, but the benefits in genuine love and communication overrides any challenges in the social relationships. a very special group, always blessing.

Has to do with children with disabilities. It is an excellent resource

Being a school teacher I found this book helpful and gave many experiences that could be done with children

    great book!

I am a social worker who works with people with special needs. This was a wonderful book about all the adventures of a man who grows in so many ways while he is on his journey. I found myself saying "oh my goodness, i am glad that doesnt only happen with our group" :) This is a quick read and very enjoyable and heartwarming.

    Good book

I enjoyed reading this book. I would have loved to hear more details about the kids. Many times I felt I was at the camp, watching the activities.

Though it could use some editing, this is a book from the heart.

Though it could use some editing, this is a book from the heart.  I saw my disabled grandson in several of these
children and had happy tears in my eyes numerous times.
