Meet the Author

Karen Whiting, wife of a retired Coast Guard Officer, is an international speaker and former television host. She is the author of sixteen books and a daily devotional for women. She and her husband Jim live on Maryland’s eastern shore, in Grasonville. They have been active members of Officers’ Christian Fellowship for over thirty years and currently help with OCF ministry at the US Naval Academy. Jocelyn Green, the wife of a former Coast Guard officer, is an award-winning author, freelance writer, and editor.     What a great book! It's encouraging to me as a military spouse,

    What a great book! It's encouraging to me as a military spouse, but also teaching me so much -- about history, about the internal strength God gave to military spouses and about myself. I definitely recommend this to anyone who is a military spouse or to anyone who wants to understand the heart of a warrior's bride better.
