Through photojournalistic essays by award-winning photographers, The Story of Mothers & Daughters focuses on the women of today, yet it tells a timeless story. The daughter becomes the mother who bears the daughter who becomes the mother. This is a story about life and death, love and hate and the essence of what all women feel and share.

    A Must Read

I read the book and i am actually in the book. My name is Keiana Quinn and i had a daughter by the name of Kealanie Quinn who passed away in 1996 from Leukemia two weeks from her third birthday. This book gave me a chance to share with a young mother who may have been going through what i went through or will go through what i went through and may feel hopeless. But knowing God the way that i do and trusting him i knew and now know, 12yrs later everything will be alright. I truly thank Joan Lunden as well as Mary Ellen Mark the Photographer and her crew for making this possible. Love Alway's Keiana Quinn and hug your child you never know when your last hug will be just that, The Last.
