How far would you dare to go…to win it all?
Maverick Holms and Duke Warren share almost everything—a college soccer team, an apartment and the same extremely competitive nature. Thanks to that never-back-down spirit, they’re about to share more than they bargained for.
The game is “gay chicken”. The rule: get as close as possible without kissing, and the one that pulls away first is the loser. The problem: neither of them likes to lose. It isn’t long before the game becomes an excuse to touch and kiss in every possible forbidden way. And after they pose for a gay website to earn extra money, things really heat up.
Suddenly Duke is talking lifetime commitment, and Mav is backpedaling as hard as he can, not sure if he’s ready to accept all his best friend is offering him. Or the truth about what he is.
Very well written. I am soooo straight and I fell in love with this book and the author. I needed to read something to help me get over J R Wards cliff-hanger of Qhuinn and Blaylock (in Lover of Mine). This did the trick, cause I was so on the search. I'm sooooo happy I read this. I really absolutely love this book, its a love story that could really happen. This book is so sweet n spicy and extra hot with a happy ending as an extra perk! I so will be re-reading this again and buying sooooo much more from this author.

Short story about two guys exploring their sexuality, it was a fun, short story, but at the same time a bit unbelievable, straight guys dont play "gay chicken" but it give the characters an opportunity to 'cut loose' haha and soccer players tend to be muscular but not overly tall, all in all it was okay, I might keep this author in my wishlist

If you are sharing beds and you like to cuddle with your same sex roommate you might be gay, I am just saying. I just thought the story was too pat and not very interesting which makes me sad.

I loved this story and fell in love with the boys! One of my favorites so far. Wished it was a bit longer. Maybe see how their relationship turns out in Tallahassee with actually living together as a couple & any fall out by family and friends. I also loved that there was a lot of seduction and build up going on before the actual act of consumation of their love. Hope that this author writes more stories like this one or maybe even a sequel?

The best thing about this book is that usually you read a book and in the middle is where most of the action is but with this book it has different situations and it build the suspense with these 2 best friends. These 2 friends just don't jump in to bed, their is seduction and suspense to know what else they will try and discover with each other. I thought it was interesting and sexual and hot. If you like a book that keeps you reading this one is it. The author makes you want to keep reading.
