Overview

This is a story about a girl discovering life outside of her parents house for the first time in her life.
Bryn Schaefler grew up rich. Her parents groomed her to be the next trophy wife, setting her up with a boyfriend she ended up falling in love with.
The problem? Her parents find out their daughter wants to pursue music for a career, and they won't have any of that.
So Bryn leaves for good.
By chance, or fate, she gets an opportunity to audition for the rock band Everlasting. Little did she know she would make it, being their new lead guitarist.

Cale Pelton didn't want to have to search for a new band member after kicking his ex best friend out of the band. But as soon as he heard Bryn play the guitar, he knew he had to have her in the band. No matter what the costs. He was intrigued by her, trying hard not to fall in love with her.

But he did.

And he swore he would never love another musician again.

received a free copy for an honest and fair review. Growing up

received a free copy for an honest and fair review.

Growing up was hard when your parents controlled everything you do. Bryn was getting tired of it and her older brother Brayden had already left without any communication to the family 2 years ago.

Bryn, 18 yrs. old, with controlling rich parents who have told her what to do her whole life. What she wears, who she dates, and where she goes to college. Not one decision is her own. Her love is music and playing the guitar. So one day she has had enough and tells her parents she is leaving. Of course she has no idea where she is going. She makes her way into town and finds a job and place to stay with a family, that owns the local Italian restaurant. The very day she leaves there is an audition for a guitar player for a band in town. Not really knowing what her experience is, since its never explained, she goes to the audition and gets the job. Cale is the lead singer along with the rest of the band Raptor, Vince and Luke. With few chances to practice she is ready to start a major tour with the band. Doesn't sound plausible to me considering other books I have read where they practice for months with a new member before starting something major.

The tour starts and of course there is an attraction between Bryn and Cale but he doesn't want to start anything because it may complicate the band dynamics. So being the guy that he is he takes advantage of his "Rock Star" status and starts bringing girls back to the tour bus. Of course the first time he does this he, supposedly to drunk to realize, takes the girl back to Byrn's bed to have sex. Byrn doesn't know what she wants, she's flirting with the lead singer Damon of Ignite the Flames, who is also on the tour with them. One night she makes out with him, although she is still a virgin when she leaves his bus. After finding Damon in a compromising position she decides she is through with him. Almost immediately she hooks up with Cale. No dates, just the band hanging out and they tell each other the I Love You's!

Good news for the band. They get signed to a contract and are finally hoping to make it big. Then out of the blue danger strikes and one of the band members is injured and needs replaced. Next thing you know in steps Tyler, a former band member kicked at for undisclosed reasons. Guess what? Bryn gets tingles in her girlie parts and thinks she needs to watch herself around him. Really??? Make up your mind who you want!!!!

The big tour is ready to start. As they head down the road there is sabotage in the making. Finally reaching their destination they are ready for the first gig as the headliner. Before it is time for them to head on stage a gun shot is heard and someone has been shot. As some of the band runs to find out whats going on Tyler has the shooter in his grasp. So hang on and see where this author takes you next!
