As far as End of the World books go, this is my favorite. It follows a man who must decided how, as the world is ending, being burned out by a dying sun, he can travel to be with the girl of his dreams in their last days on Earth. A beautiful love story hidden in an apocalytic nightmare, this book just may bring a tear to your eye. Very well written, its a shame it is out of print.

So I liked this book but it wasn't something I couldn't put down... the story was interesting but the main character was annoying to me.. I liked the idea of what was happening in the story more then I liked the story itself. I could not make myself feel bad for the main character and even in the end I never really rooted for him. Honestly I wanted to slap him and shake him around. The only other character I hated more was his father in law... what a bastard that guy was. The idea behind the story was interesting though.
