Stranded [NOOK Book]

Overview

Ciara has hated, and secretly wanted, Ross for years. When her sister strands her in a hedonist's cabin with him for a week with orders to 'spread her wings', she doesn't know if it is a blessing or a curse. Can the atmosphere, and company help her overcome her inhibitions? Ross views Ciara's inexperience like a kid views a candy store. What was wrong with her? Why was her body ready to spontaneously combust at the mere thought of being alone in the cabin for a week with Ross, when she hadn't even been able to have an orgasm with her old boyfriend? She was stronger than her body. She was not going drop her pride and throw herself at Ross. If he stopped laughing long enough to fuck her she'd hate herself in the morning.

"You look like a kid being dropped off at summer camp," Ross called from the front porch. He was still drinking his beer, and looked almost happy at the circumstances.

"Why aren't you pissed off about this?" Ciara asked as she walked slowly back to the house.

"Maybe I am," he said with a cocky grin.

"Yeah, you seem broken up over the whole thing. How can you stand there drinking a beer when we are going to be stuck together for a week? We'll be lucky if we don't kill each other by the end of it."

"Hey, there's nothing we can do. Might as well make the best of it while we're here. Have you ever spent a weekend in the cabin before?"

"No, I hate the country. I don't like bugs, or animals, or trees."

"I can tell you we don't come up here to get back to nature, that's for sure. A serious hedonist built this place. You wouldn't believe some of the extras it has."

Ciara's body started to heat up even more at the thought of what a 'serious hedonist' might include in his vacation home. She knew Molly and Lance spent a lot of time up here, but had never asked her about it.

"Isn't that just peachy," Ciara said for a lack of anything intelligent to say. Her mind was too busy thinking of the possibilities of a week spent in a hedonist's retreat with Ross. If only he would shut up.

"You know, youlook different," Ross said as she walked past him into the kitchen. "Have you lost weight?"

"Gee, you sweet talker, you." Ciara couldn't believe he was trying to flatter her. Maybe she could, he was stuck with her, and he wasn't one for abstinence. She vowed to make him beg before she had sex with him.

Wait a minute, when had she decided she was going to have sex with him? Apparently her subconscious had already made the decision she was going to go to bed with him, but that didn't mean she had to fall into his plans like a lovesick fool. Yes, she wanted him so badly she could feel her underwear sticking to her wet crotch, but she could hold out until he was in as bad a state as she was.

She didn't have any grand delusions that she was a femme fatale, but she knew he was used to regular sex and eventually the celibacy would get to him. She didn't care what his reasons would be for having sex with her, as long as she got to have sex with him and she didn't humiliate herself in the process. She didn't have to fall in love with him to want to fuck him. This was chemistry, not love.

Still, she wasn't going to lie down at his feet like a sacrificial offering. She wanted him begging for it. She'd give him till Wednesday before the lack of sex got to him. This could get really interesting.
