Editorial Reviews

Author of the Angel Murphy series - Gerry McCullough
Sloane reminds me a little of Kinsey Millone in Sue Grafton's Alphabet series, and that's a serious compliment. I don't mean to suggest that Bradshaw has borrowed anything from Grafton - just that Sloane is not an over the top, unbelievable character, but is someone we might feel we could meet walking down the street, natural and likeable.
Author of The Lost Journal - Chris Blewitt
Ms. Monroe discovers hidden clues that lead to a sinister kidnapper and an even more sinister motive. Page-turning from the first chapter to the last, Stranger in Town brings fiction to the edge of reality.
Author of the Louise Golden series - Laurie Hanan
The story flowed quickly with a protagonist who is easy to like. It was hard to put down from the intriguing first chapter all the way to the spine-tingling conclusion.
Author of Vada Faith - Barbara Whittington
This is one of those stories that kept me reading until the very end. I simply could not put it down for very long until I was back turning those pages.

Now you see her, now you don’t!!! In a blink of an eye six-year-old Olivia Hathaway disappears from the grocery store where she was shopping with her Mom. The author address the current problem of child abduction in our society and the difficult trails for law enforcement to pursue. Sloane Monroe, PI gets involved in the hunt to find Olivia only to discover the disappearance of another little girl. Sloane connecting the two kidnappings find herself working with Detective Cade. They vow to bring both children back alive!! The book had wholesome characters. While being full of suspense, there is a hint of romance in the air. While the book is the fourth in the series, it is good as a stand alone. It is a fast reading book.

I've loved all the previous Sloan Monroe novels by Cheryl Bradshaw and this one is no exception - Cheryl delivers every time. This mystery, about a missing child, has so many twists and turns you'll be guessing "whodunit" right to the very end. I totally recommend this book if you're a mystery lover and a fan of strong female characters.
