A good friend had turned me on to UFO back in '78 or so, playing me the early classics such as " Phenomenon" " Force It" " No Heavy Petting" , etc., and I fell in love with the band right then. So it was a no brainer when this seminal live album came out that I buy it immediately. When the opening riff of 'Natural Thing' blew out of my speakers, the hair on my arms and the back of my neck stood on end, and to this day I still get that same rush when I listen to either the original or the remasted w/ bonus tracks. For the record (no pun intended) the original left off the two bonus tracks and mixed up the set list somewhat. The remastered version w/ bonus tracks is the actual set list in the orignal order as it was played during that tour. Why the original was " butchered" as it was, I don't know, but I still love them both to this day. Bottom line is that anyone who loves not only good rock & roll, but also the live album, must own this record and if they can still get their hands on a copy, the original as well. In my opinion, by far, the best hard rock live album ever recorded, with 'KISS Alive!' a close second and 'Frampton Comes Alive' rounding out the triumvirate of the all time greatest live albums ever produced.

This cd is cool.I think UFO is better off without Michael Schenker.UFO should recruit Carlos Cavazo Because he is more talented than Michael Schenker and faster.Heed my words Phil Moog I know what I am talking about. Was this review helpful? One of the best live albums of all time! This remastered version is the one to get. While it doesn't include any new bonus tracks you get an expanded booklet with liner notes and a lot of cool pictures! Get it and hear Schenker tear it up on the extended jam during "Rock Bottom". A very good live version of "Doctor Doctor" too!Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
