    Excellent Overview of Technology Strategy

    This easy-to-read text is a must for every MBA student or rising professional interested in managing innovative, high growth companies, or improving technology strategy at older firms. Laid out in perfect modules that examine the management of technology strategy from the innovation process, to strategy formulation and deployment strategies, Schilling¿s work delivers both the bird's eye view and details of strategic management of innovation.     Spectacular Innovation Focus

    Schilling's book is one of the few on the market that focuses exclusively and succinctly on the fields of innovation and technology. The text is accessible to academics as well as professionals who yearn to learn more about methods to improve methodolgies and processes that promote innovative products and services. Given the increasing importance in today's business world on innovation as a differentiation factor, Schilling's book provides a tremendous advantage for the reader by providing cases and examples, academic and professional studies, and timely recommendations for industries and companies whose existence depends upon thinking about and doing things differently. It's also just fun to read!
