    A disappointing purchase.

After reading and using Ms. Rutherford's book Instruction for All Students, I was looking forward to reading this one, and possibily using it with my methods students. The buyer needs to be aware that this book does not serve as a "stand alone" resource. You will not understand the techniques mentioned without one of her previous books in hand. Even if you have one of the other books, you have to use an index at the front to flip back and forth between the two in order to profit from it. All the book consists of are various adaptations of the activities from the first books covering the entire K-12 spectrum and special education! A more useful volume would be a stand alone of techniques that covers either elementary, secondary OR special education.
