About the Author

TERRY BAILEY editor and publisher of Streams of Consciousness, graduated from Concord University, Athens, West Virginia and earned a masters and a doctorate from the University of Virginia. He retired after a 45-year career in public education as a teacher, librarian, supervisor, principal, and superintendent. He was named Virginia Media Educator of the Year 1988 and Vermont Vocational Director of the Year 2003. Terry lives with his wife Ann and their dog, Valentino - “Tino” in Greenville, South Carolina. He enjoys his seven grandchildren, that he sometimes entertains with magic.
Terry has written two books and has assisted with three others to be published by the Gooney Otter Press, His children’s book, The Gooney Otter was inspired by his wife and teaches children the importance of a balance in ecology for animals and man.
