Street Dreams [Explicit Lyrics]

All Music Guide - John Bush
His first record was the hottest rap debut of 2001 despite an ominous release date: 9/11, and Fabolous consolidated his commercial clout, if not his artistic importance, with a safe sophomore record called Street Dreams. There's little doubt that Fabolous has rapping talents to match his name, with the smoothest flow of any East Coaster and dozens of great ideas. To capitalize on what made Ghetto Fabolous such a big hit, Street Dreams has plenty of club tracks "Can't Let You Go," and "Trade It All, Pt. 2" featuring P. Diddy and a few that advertise his hardcore credentials "Not Give a F***," "Up on Things" featuring Snoop Dogg, "Keepin It Gangsta" with Styles and Jadakiss. ...

Elsewhere he dismisses a raft of female admirers "Call Me," "Into You" featuring Ashanti and shows a level of general disinterest to rival anyone with a major-label deal. One of the singles, "This Is My Party," is one of the worst tracks on the album, a lame mid-tempo grind with a one-note chorus featuring Fabolous intoning "This is my party, so get fly if you like to" over and over. The productions are much better than the songs, with good work coming from Tone & Poke, Timbaland, and executive producers DJ Clue and Duro.
Billboard
On the follow-up to Ghetto Fabolous, which spawned ubiquitous radio hits like "Young'n (Holla Back)," Fabolous proves once again that he has a flair for infectious club-ready singles.

    BEST ALBUM OF HIP HOP

Fabolous' new album is hot. Its one of the illest albums Ive bought in awhile. One song after another is just off the meat rackets. Theres sex, love, cars, ice and Fab. One of my favorite songs(out of the many) is Into You. Its a tender side of this Fabolous Street Dreamin rapper. He expresses his love in many ways and rappin fine to it. This album would not be forgotten. If you cop it you will listen to just as much as I do, and thats always. Make him platnium and he'll keep bringing the streets.

    FABOLOUS IS SICK

YO SERIOUSLY THIS ALBUM IS SICK. THE FIRST SONG NOT GIVE A F*** IS A BANGER. THEN HE GOES INTO DAMN WHICH IS CRAZY. THEN HE GOES TO A COUPLE OF SONGS FOR THE LADIES. PRETTY MUCH I GOTTA SAY FABOLOUS HAS REALLY GONE UP A LEVEL WITH THIS ALBUM AND HIS PUNCH LINES ARE THE BEST TO ME IN THE GAME. IF U DONT HAVE THIS ALBUM MAKE SURE U COP IT PLEASE.

    Dope ALBUM!

This album is real tight and is real sick. Since ive got this album early (28th february) I just feel that I cant wait to review this phenome of an album. Fabolous's lyrics are so slick that you can actually took time to write these lyrics and theys some dope beat from Just-Blaze (Cant let you go) and Lil mo and my shorey do really good tag team vocals. This album would've got a 5 but theres one problem track 16 (wake up) has been cancelled (taken off) and at the back the album you will see a sticker indicatind that. Great album coming from Ghetto fab. Its mainly for rnb heads so any one who likes LL Cool J then youll certainly like this album. So just go COP IT!

    Street Dreams

I LOVE the album!!" Street Dreams " is off the chains. I like the way Fabolous keeps it gangsta on this album, reveals his freaky side, and at the same time he shows that he has alot of love for the females with the song "Into You" featuring Ashanti! This song is BEAUTIFUL! If you're looking for a good album this is definetly worth the money.

    Worth the wait!!

As we all know, we have all been waiting for this album to drop since Christmas but Fabolous wasn't ready to drop it. But now the long wait is over and I have to say that it was worth wait. This CD contains some amazing lyrics and DJ Clue also put his flavour onto it which just makes it even better. There are 20 tracks but for some reason, track 16 is not included on the album. There are some amazing tracks as the album features the likes of Lil' Mo, Paul cain, Snoop Dogg, Missy Elliot, Ashanti and a lot more. This is better than Ghetto fabolous and I suggest that you run to your latest CD store before it's sold out!!

    the album of the year

This is the best rap album I have heard in a while. What makes it the best is because every song on the album is good.
