Editorial Reviews

School Library Journal
These books are great for lesson plans for school media specialists, and they also have some interesting ideas for crafts and activities for public librarians. All three are aimed at K-5 students, but can be adapted for special-needs classes or sixth graders. Reading Activities offers useful suggestions for language-arts support, and most importantly, the handouts are immediately reproducible. It's likely that the Web sites listed will quickly become out of date, but that concern does not affect the usefulness of the books. Must-haves for anyone working in a school library.-Saleena L. Davidson, South Brunswick Public Library, Monmouth Junction, NJ Copyright 2003 Reed Business Information.
