Overview

High-powered business woman, Helga Schulz, brings herself low behind closed doors. She lives a double life as a no-nonsense middle manager during the day and a depraved submissive during the night. After a stressful weekend, she escapes to a hotel for a night she'll never forget.

During a routine encounter, she learns that her domineering partner is none other than her employee, Adam. Shocked and intrigued by the handsome young man, she allows him to dominate her.
Roles reverse as the underling takes control of his caustic employer. In spite of his youth, Adam proves to be a powerful Master. He may be the man who will finally break her. Will this encounter become personal? Or it just strictly business?

EXPLICIT: This 15,000 word contemporary erotic novelette contains strong and vivid BDSM imagery. You’ll find bondage, whipping, humiliation, a sexy alpha male, and very hot scenes of passion!

EXCERPT:
Without a word, Adam went to the briefcase he left near the door. He picked it up and opened it on one of the beds. I saw the familiar tools of the trade. I noticed he took pride in his work through the meticulous arrangement of the various items. A variety of leather and steel collars were stacked in a corner. A set of masks were nestled in another corner. He had crops and canes for hitting. He kept a number of clamps in different sizes. I saw bindings made of various materials. I saw hemp, leather, and silk ropes. Many of the items were in their original, unopened packaging for hygienic reasons. Curiously enough, there was particularly long and beautiful cloth of silk. I had never been bound by silk before. I was fascinated about what he planned for me.

“Ms. Schulz, I take safety very seriously,” Adam said, his tone becoming authoritative. I enjoyed relinquishing control to him. He began taking certain implements out of the briefcase. “I’m a pretty big guy. I could really hurt you if I wasn’t careful. I want you to tell me to stop or slow down if I go too far.”

“I’m well aware of my limits,” I replied, my anticipation seeping into the words. “In lieu of a safe word, we’ll use the traffic light system.”

    disappointing

Writing was confusing and disjointed. Some of the dialogue did not follow a natural progression. The grammar and wording errors were abundant enough to be distracting. There is no firm grasp of BDSM and the emotional or psychological implications of that world. How the character makes a leap to love is not wholly understood. Overall not a great story, pretty poorly written.
