Overview

General James K. Matson rushes to his control center at the United States Strategic & Tactical Interdiction Keeper of Eagle Command (USSTRIKECOM) HQ. He directs unified combat commands of Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Air Forces around the world while fending off a coordinated effort to destroy his sensitive installation by a coalition of terrorists, renegade governments and Russia. His enemies intend to destroy STRIKECOM’s ability to direct all U.S. military forces and then to rain down nuclear missiles on the United States and its military installations worldwide. An imbedded terrorist named Roger Edwards mission is to sabotage the alternate airborne command post—AWACS aircraft—and plant a bomb in Matson's command post ninety feet underground. Captain David Phelton, in charge of public affairs, must keep a lid on the developing crisis. But his focus falters when Lieutenant Colonel Larson stalks his wife, Cheydan. Though officially retired, a few of the valiant SR-71 Blackbirds covertly serve in CIA black ops. In addition, pilots in Colorado overfly combat operations in the Middle East with Unmanned Arial Vehicles (UAVs). And cutting-edge nano technology “insects” are flying worldwide. The mechanical houseflies have all the capabilities of UAVs, including audio video spyware, over-the-horizon communications and a deadly “bite.” General Matson's, Edwards' and the Pheltons' lives converge at a critical moment when a bomb behind a wall in the STRIKECOM command post is about to explode . . .
