Meet the Author

My life story is really hard to narrate without emotions. It's been known that talking and remembering ones past helps, how can it when the scars still lingers. I thank my strong African mother who had always wanted the best for her three children socially, economically and educationally. But because of the divorce of our dad, it deters her from fulfilling the virtues she envisioned for her children. Despite all that fell on her, I watched her daily struggles, fighting for strength to survive by selling her hard earned possessions to clothe, feed and educate us. Rigid as life was, stability at living in one place for longer periods was a problem because of economical or safety reasons or for a better educational equipment, we will move around living in a single room rented to us based on sympathy by a landlord with a heart to accommodate a single mother and her three children. As the oldest and only girl, my strength came from watching my mother's turmoils and pain, at eleven years old, I lay on the hard wooden weave mat in the single room we shared wishing for a miracle or ways I can help end the depression spell coasted on us. I was willing to put shame and disgrace behind me, while attending the most prestigious high school in my country, I helped my mother sell pastries at my high school and cold water at the local markets on weekends. We had to survive each day without a single help from our late father who was financially stable. The African proverb it takes a village came into full circle at some point in my life, my well to do uncles whom I love began to render some help after several pleas from my mother. Life has it trials as I have to endure it all and look for ways to survive. Being abused physically, emotionally and mentally, it helps makes me matured over night ad most of all humble. As a single mother myself at present, struggling to educate my kids, I pass on the baton to them of being respectful and humble, life is a challenge, we can overcome it. Writing has been my life and also a hobby that I cherished due to the fact it helps get my mind out of situations I had been through, I hope readers will support my dreams in becoming a successful Author.

Thank You.

God Bless.

This is my review of Striker. This book was pretty damn good, if this is the criminal underworld of Identity Theft then we are all in trouble! I don't think I will ever view a scam email the same! This book is based on actual events which really scares me even more! The Author's history is really amazing and reminds me of the Harry Potter Author...But even Harry would be scared of the characters in this book!

I got this book because of the Author's Bio...and because it sounded like an okay read. But WOW what a roller coaster ride! It's good to have a strong, kick butt female lead every once in awhile! My husband refused to read it because the cover is pink but he read a little and is now hooked as well! I gave it four stars because some things were kind of confusing but that may be my lack of knowledge in certain things. But I highly recommend you buy this book and support the author and go on one heck of a ride!
