Holly Harper's life is finally getting back on the right track after her divorce from "what's his name." She and a group of divorcees have formed a strong bond plotting creative ways to get back at their exes and created a self-help group known as The Divorced Divas where their meetings are held in Holly's bead store, The Beaded Dragonfly.

It’s no secret that Holly’s ex husband, Sean Harper, and the wealthiest bachelor in Swanee, Doug Sloan, don’t get along because Sean is constantly fixing all of Doug’s shoddy handy man work. Plus all the Divas would love to get their claws in some of Doug’s money.

When Doug ends up dead on the floor of The Beaded Dragonfly with a string of cat eye beads around his neck, it’s up to Holly to figure out whose framing her.

Having read the book before it was published, Tonya’s latest “Strung Out To Die”, is a delightfully crafted story of mystery, mayhem and humor. I don’t know how she does it, putting out multiple books in a year, but her books continue to entertain and satisfy my reading pleasure.

    Nice read

I enjoyed this book quite a bit. Enough suspense but still light and easy. My only pet peeve was the spelling errors. If there is one or two it doesn't bother me as much but there were quite a few in this one. I would still recommend it.

Amusing book in desperate need of proof reading / editing. I enjoyed the books when I wasn't being bounced out of the story by sloppy proof reading / editing.

I love reading Tonya's books and I am also a member of her Street Team. Tonya's characters are so crazy but real. They are very easy to recognize in people in you know. "Strung Out To Die" is the 2nd of the Divorced Divas series. It kept me hanging till the very end. I can't wait to read the next one since the killer was a major character. Please Tonya, publish the next one soon! l.

At times cute but mostly predictable. A 1/3 thru the book the culprit was pretty obvious.

Loving this series! Strung Out To Die by Tonya Kappes was such a fun cozy mystery. So many laugh out loud moments and I absolutely love Willow, Holly's pet pig. I felt like I couldn't read it fast enough because I wanted to find out who the killer was. I was completely surprised ... had not guessed that at all. Can't wait to read the next in the series and see what is new in the lives of Holly and the Divorced Diva's.

I loved it! It was fun, enjoyable, and mysterious! It was everything I hope for in a cozy mystery. Tonya Kappes' gift of quirkiness really shined in this book, which made it even better! Willow, Holly's pet pig is a fine example of how much fun a person can expect to have with a Tonya Kappes book. There is such a great balance between the parts that have you on the edge of your seat, and the parts that have you laughing out loud. If you are looking for something fun to read, definitely give this one a chance.  The characters and the story are really great!

This Has to Do With Making Bead Jewelry

This is a lighthearted murder mystery. Holly owns a bead shop and a 95 lb pig which her ex husband let HER have when they were divorced. she also belongs to a group of women known as the Divas, for short. The corpse, Doug, is the best friend of her husband, who disappears. Various persons are accused of the murder, including Holly, who with her Divas, sets out to solve the mystery. Women would probably prefer this book. Having read one book, I doubt that I would read another, but a book club might like this selection.
